As many of you know, I am a total Lords of the Underworld fan girl. As such, I have been waiting for, literally, YEARS to read Paris' story. Well, it is finally here. The Darkest Seduction officially releases tomorrow, February 28th!
Gena Showalter was the second paranormal romance author that I came across, and has been one of my favourites since. To be honest, the thing the drew me to her Lords of the Underworld books was the beautiful covers. And then, of course, her writing. I personally feel that Gena has some of the most amazing book covers in the entire genre. She has so many stunning covers, that it got me to wondering which one was her personal favourite.
Well, let's find out...from the woman herself.
"For my current releases, The Darkest Seduction has one of my favorite covers (Dark Taste of Rapture tops the list, as well!) I had always wanted a cover with a man and a woman, and Seduction definitely delivers on that score. But what I love most is the fact that Paris is in the more vulnerable pose, and Sienna is clearly a treasure he values. As for Sienna, her willingness to offer comfort to a man who had once been Enemy One melts my heart. It’s a cover all about love, forgiveness, consolation and hope. To me, that absolutely fits the pages inside."

ReplyDeletemy fave cover from Gena is Darkest Night.when the first time i see that, I feel that the aura is very dark and the picture is like alive. and the cover is suitable with the title, mysterious, strong, dark, and cool!

ReplyDeleteI have to say my favorite covers would be the first three original covers (The Darkest Night, The Darkest Kiss, and The Darkest Pleasure). They were the original and the reason I got into the series was because I though the covers looked amazing, showing off the different guys and the were distinctable because of the colors.

DeleteI have the first four books on my Kindle. I've only read the novella and part of the first book. I wasn't in the mood and so I stopped. I'm waiting to be in the right mood so I don't spoil it because I've heard so much about it. All of the covers are amazing, but I would say my favorite is Darkest Surrender or Darkest Night. Great giveaway :)
